Maybe they just hopped up from the valley, but given the care that's gone into this park I wouldn't be surprised if some frogs were released by design.

This came up during a recent walk-through (with Pam McConnell). They anticipated that some 'critters' (or their eggs) would be imported along with the aquatic plants and that appears to have occurred.

Two weeks remaining to check it out...when it closes Sept 2nd and then reopens next year.

Checked out the park. This is an exceptionally well designed and executed park. Top grades. Check it out if you get a chance

The park is going to be open until at least Thanksgiving :D
Yes, that's great news but it is odd that WT kept saying that the "dry side" could not be open while work was going in on the 'wet side". Clearly wrong as they have been working on it with no problems! Now to see why Lauren Harris Square is still closed!

Best new park in the city. May it never get turned over to Parks & Rec lest it deteriorate beyond repair like all other parks in their "care."

Wanted to check out the park prior to closing up for the winter and for the final completion of the 'wet' side and the prairie planting/seeding.

Was really happy to find the grasses growing already. Can't wait for it to reopen and be complete next year!
