Hopefully there'll be some decent retail in here.

Well, if by "decent retail" you mean Firkin on Danforth, they've rented the big storefront space. Signs went up yesterday.

I'm not sure if that's what the area needs, but I'm sure they'll do ok.

Well better than a hair studio, small drugstore, and coffee store.

Interesting ... I can't think of anything quite like that nearby. Might work well.

I'm not entirely sure I'll be very comfortable eating there ... not for a few years anyway. There's a moral dilemma ...

The bottom portion of the building looks really shoddy and unattractive. There's something off about it. The entrance to the building itself is quite unelegent and feels like a backdoor entrance from a loading dock. Im not sure why it was recessed , but it needs some sort of awning.

The retail seems pretty good though.

Ya, not a big fan of this, however I know some people who work in retail along this stretch and they say this building has done wonders for sales and foot traffic.
