TRICON team gave a tour to our MUCP students from U of T School of Cities this morning, first - we got this nice shot of the green-roof and the skyline -- and then we were able to visit the under construction building too. Only the first 3-floors are currently ready for occupancy, as of today.

ive heard those rocks can cost hundreds of thousands dollars. i remember back in 2015 City of Kelowna built a park and bought a few dozen of these rocks for $180,000 to put in the park. people lost their mind.

I suspect that's depending where those rocks came from and how they where put together. Also see: Rowlands' Rock

I'm going to dig me up some boulders and sell em!

A $1000 boulder costing ten to $15,000 delivered and installed in Toronto doesn't seem that far fetched.

"Starting underground and building on the vertical structure of the subway, the pieces were held together using sand and gravel. The 650-ton structure cost the city $250,000."

Less than 20-cents per pound to build the one in Yorkville.

IIRC, Edmonton's NHL arena cost around $600 million in 2014. Calgary's 2024 arena is budgeted for a billion dollars.
