I wish this was taller with residential units on top... The area doesn't have a lot of housing that isn't $1.5 million+ single family houses.

Impressed by the tasteful brick and clean, largely spandrel-free windows here. Would not be opposed to more solidly competent buildings like this throughout the city.

^scotiabank will presumably be consolidating their College & Bathurst and their Dundas & Bathurst locations then? Considering how few branches Scotiabank has downtown, it's always struck me as odd that they have two so close to each other.

Assuming and hoping so; I've always loved that building, and it'd make for a nice signature anchor for a redevelopment of that corner if one picked up the auto garage to the north and a building or two to the east.

Dundas & Bathurst is already closed. I'd assume College & Bathurst will be closing as soon as this one is fully up and running (if it isn't already)

On a much brighter retail note, Basil Box has signage up on one of the other retail units. The one at Queen and Spadina is delicious.
