Whoever has the penthouse suite in that slim building on the north side of King there is really fortunate. It's just a great, tucked-in, urban pad. I will never, without exception, be able to afford something like that.

Edit: maybe I should have said, if I could afford something luxurious like that, I'm not sure I would go for it. With wealth comes responsibility, kids.

If it's One King, they've converted it to office space.

The photo clearly shows that @Miscreant is seeing the Cosmopolitan on Colborne, but misidentifying its location, that's all.

Interesting. Never even heard of it, thanks for the update. And it's somewhat surprising a hotel has an outdoor patio that high. Often there are concerns about legal liabilities etc.
It is a hotel, with apartments on top. The penthouses were listed on MLS for a long time. The Designer Guys (not Steven & Chris, the b-list ones that followed them) tarted up one of them a few years ago.

From today.

It is, but you don't need to use an over-saturated image to try and make your point.

I appreciate the various photographic styles used around here and am glad that it isn't homogenous.

Maybe he was making a point with the contrast. Maybe he just thought that level of contrast suited that image. Personally, I find it the colour in that shot way too cool, but that's me and I wouldn't suggest he should warm up his photos to please me.
