The balcony glass on this looks absolutely horrible. Somehow cheapens it even further.

The tower is better than I expected, given how the podium looks. If only they had used different materials on the podium instead of window-wall with spandrel panels, it wouldn't have been too bad. Window wall is so over-used!

24 October 2013: Way back when this project launched, I said it was a poor man's Murano. Do I still agree with that (c.2006) statement?

It certainly is a lot greyer, less "art" to the window dressing and overall, rather dull.

So maybe it is rather like its namesake after all.

Balcony undersdes are painted gray to match the spandrel. I haven't seen that before (usually they are white, right?)

They are almost always white or unpainted. Only other case I can think of when they aren't white is that new circular condo down at Humber Bay. (always confuse all the projects down there, can't remember the name)
