And the curved glass at the entrance (as per rendings) is actually...flat glass stepped around the corned with thick mullions. Quelle surprise.

Looks like there are just 3 or 4 storeys to go. The balconies and layouts have changed on the top 4 floors that have been built. From the renderings, I see only 6 of these floors. I think the balcony glass will make/break this building. Not bad so far though.
 
How was the tower position approved like this, right up to the property line against the gas station? That (albeit small) lot is now essentially useless for future development. Even mid-rise would butt right up against the first few floors of balconies facing west. Wonder why they weren't forced to push the tower back towards the subway tracks to get some separation.

At this point, perhaps we could wish that the land the gas station sits on could be turned into a small plaza, matching the one across the street, and maybe the Canadian Tire parking lot redeveloped into something else? Just wishful thinking...
