Been sorta busy to take photos/build more, but the College Park block is pretty much complete, and I'm working my way north along Bay Street... soon to follow are Lumiere, Murano, Burano, etc... all those blocks of yonge/bay north of college hopefully will be complete by the end of the month.

How about the Humber Bay Shores area? I've been dying to see how it will look once its complete.

I decided to go along with INDX condos, i built it at 190m, and i found out yesterday the height will be 178m (face-palm)!.. whatever, i'll figure something out or maybe they'll increase the height by a few metres lol!

Also, I went along with Bay Adelaide East at 196m. I'm holding off on Bay Adelaide North because nothing is yet finalized on that one.

The impact of INDX and Bay Adelaide East will be actually large on the skyline, especially INDX. it'll seal off the gaps and further densify the area. Can't wait for 100 Adelaide!

Murano is also complete along with some more blocks along Yonge in between Gerard and Elm.

This model is spectacular, steveve, and If you are pursuing architecture school this model will surely be your selling point.

Being a graduate from Architecture at Ryerson, I can tell you they will love this. If it is what you want to pursue, make sure you take professional quality photographs with a proper background. Perhaps borrow/rent a decent camera for that. I also suggest you familiarize yourself with Photoshop, Indesign & Illustrator to compliment your model making skills. For instance, a page showing a timeline of your model prrogression over the years would be very strong for your portfolio.

Great stuff!

Yes, yes, and yes! Listen to this guy. Things like this, ESPECIALLY done in your free time and of your own free will, are a huge selling point for you as an applicant to an architecture school like Ryerson's, should this be the academic path you wish to take.

thanks for all the feedback and support guys :D!. i haven't fully decided on where my future will take me, but i'll definitely consider architecture as a potential path,

I've slowed down on working on the model these past few weeks, and i've had a lot less activity on the forums, i guess you could call it a temporary loss of interest or maybe laziness... sometimes i wish this thing was just completed lol.
this current model all started with one block: TD Centre, July 1, 2011:

the model could have been finished by now and i took many weeks off of building, but heck, i have to live in between (despite popular belief, i do have a life outside of this :p)... I can't guarantee how far i'll build this model, but I'll go as far as i can,

Once again,
thanks for sticking around guys :) , I really appreciate it, i probably would have stopped building by now without these forums.

Got motivated to building again,

Burano, and some blocks around Yonge/College are completed:
