Anybody else think that Norm Kelly maybe forced Ford's hand by telling the press Ford would be making an announcement? The sequence of events since noon makes me think Ford had no intention of making any further announcements before Kelly said he would.

I predict he steps down to "get help" (hang out in the basement and get 'tor up) until January. Then he can start campaigning, which is all he really wants to do, anyway.
