Ontario electoral law for municipal elections says any resident in Ontario can donate to municipal candidates upto $5000.
Only exceptions are unions and corporations.

So rob ford is doing nothing wrong.

First time for everything I guess:)

And there is nothing "wrong" from someone wishing ill will on the city to contribute to a candidate running for leadership of said city. The law isn't the sole purveyor of ethics.

Sure... but according to Doug the people of Toronto worship Rob like a rockstar. So you'd think he could raise some campaign money among those people in the city where he's actually running for election.

But he can't because his support base there consists mainly of criminals, thugs, gangsters, imbeciles, trolls, high school drop outs and other assorted self-hating poor people.

2010 campaign

1/3 of his donations were from non GTA residents.

People hate Toronto and will donate to him to spite Toronto
We should put together a traveling circus show of everything that Rob Ford has brought Toronto like pot holes, no electricity, sardine can subways, terrible traffic as well as mayors being open to corruption by associating with gang members, etc and give them a preview of what they are supporting.

So apparently Robbie still does coke/crack but his entourage makes you hand over your phone while you're in the room. He's finally learned!

Discouraging. I was hoping for another video once he started feeling invincible again.

Interesting interview with Tim Leiweke, well really PR session for MLSE.

Well, I guess he is helping the City of Toronto economy out like he always does. Guess who else is based in Vaughan?

Shurely, such an event will attract many respectable and legitimate business people. Community-minded builders of hospitals and such. Of course, the substantial contributions of those civic-minded Vaughn-ites (The Vaughnish? Vaughnonians?) are well-documented in Ford's Elxn Contribution list from 2010. Surprisingly high, IIRC. One supposes the question many would ask is, "Why are you going to 'The City Above Toronto' for money? How do the interests of Vaughn align with those of the city below Vaughn, the one you wish to be re-elected to lead? Oh, and one more thing, what the heck interests do these contributors have in the matters of Toronto?".

Mind you, and let's be clear, as Trolly above pointed out, it's all Perfectly Above Board. He's Not Doing Anything Wrong.
