Uhh, yeah and country music sucks, but saying Shangri-La is the FCP/centre of the west is to compress the downtown core back to University frontier, which is the opposite of what we're discussing (expansion of the core).
Ryu, please esssplain what you mean by your last two posts. So far their net effect is 5 seconds wasted reading them, 25 seconds wasted trying to understand them while rereading, 45 seconds wasted writing this.

I wonder if Trump will be visible from that vantage point, or will it be tucked in behind scotia?
as tall as it is i feel as if it won't have as much of an impact because of its small floor plate and proximity to FCP and Scotia

^ I think a good portion of Trump will be visible in that pic, maybe 65%. The tower part of Scotia doesn't go all the way north to Adelaide, which Trump will.
