Not a Toronto artist, but my personal favourite photographer Michael Wolf has passed away. His building facade detail photos have inspired a lot of urban photogs over the years, myself included. Even if you haven't seen his photos, you've almost certainly seen photos inspired by them. Figured I'd pay a trip to Centre Island before it's too late. Things aren't looking too good over there. Olympic Island looks pretty much like it did in 2017, and all pedestrian access points have been shut down.
