Hording is down. Sorry dun have any pics.. But it's still not 'open'.. There are signs explaining that the entrance is closed due to construction..

Those problems seem minor. Why does it take 1.2M just to renovate a small entrance? You could build several houses for that amount. Gross negligence is what this is. It's public money, so why not waste it right?

It's open today. It seems that yorkville BIA wanted to make an event out of it, so, fittingly, they outfitted it as if it was an entrance to a club, complete with women, a black carpet and line cues, and even a bouncer.
