New Cumberland St. TTC entrance

I agree, but first fix the problems downtown. I guarantee you the ridership on some of those TC lines will be pathetic.. A colossal waste of money thrust upon taxpayers by a mayor who's so deluded in his socialist views that he thinks streetcars will fix social problems in Scarborough.

He cares about Scarborough, does he?

Odd, you'd think then that he'd be backing up more sensical transit planning. Don't you agree? :p

The entire TC is nonsensical.. I think someone just took out a marker and began drawing lines across a map of Toronto.

lol ...

Some of the routes are justified for some form of higher order transit ... the particular technology I won't discuss as it's been done to death. Finch W for one ... something needs to be done on that route ... it doesn't work, the amount of bunching is unbelievable due to the frequency. Finch E has even higher frequency (highest in the city just about) but it fairs a little better. Sheppard if done to SCC is also justified along with Eglinton.

The rest of the routes ... not really.

As such I wouldn't call transit city as a whole a failure (maybe technology wise) but while the core of it seems sensible it seems a lot was thrown on for social issues.

What does any of this have to do with a TTC entrance on Cumberland?

A disdain for the way the TTC runs things, perhaps?

From future transit expansion to new subway entrances.

I was just responding to a comment I thought was ridiculous. Sorry, had to.

I would have preferred a slightly more transparent glass on the top and the brick used inside as well as outside in place of the blue tile. It's not bad though.
