Kensington Market really was and still is a great place to find interesting people doing interesting things - even though it's not as much of a market as it used to be (too many coffee shops and restaurants, just my opinion of course..) and less authentic or gritty as these old pictures record. Interesting link, thank you Goldie.

I'm not sure about the foliage, maybe philodendron, but the flowers (both colours) are hydrangeas.
