Miscellany Toronto Photographs: Then and Now

Hello all. Its been a while since I have been on here. Always great stuff! Keep up the wonderful work. Hours of fun looking through the posts. This is definitely Toronto's Then and Now central command!

-Alden

Goldie, I hope you don't mind. I saw this and had to mix :)

Nice mix (as always), Alden. Glad to be of service.
I'll add this to my collection.

Inspired by my own less than original thought about photograph-as-time-travel; and Aladone's 'mix'; I offer this bit of amusement I found on the internet:

Then and Now for June 7, 2013.

June 12, 1929. Mutual Street Loop. Opened in 1929. Situated on the E side of Mutual between Oueen and Shuter. I wonder when they closed it? I Googled with no luck.

Interesting. 'The Grant Lithographic Co.' in the middle of this map appears to me to be a subsequent usage of the Royal Lyceum Theatre -what with its size and location on Theatre Lane. See page 705 of this thread for a prior discussion.
