The Missie transformation is kinda Chinese-lite. But everything proposed fringes a (successful) plaza. Convenient of course but informs/delays any hope of real urbanism. Maybe one day Missie will build a real street or two... naw. Or maybe the shopping centre is a new piazza (steroids) kinda thing.

Funny enough, back in 2018 someone from Quadrangle got in touch with me because they wanted to use one of my MCC drone pictures in a suburban->urban presentation. re: CTBUH conference in Dubai with the theme Polycentric Cities, entitled “Low-Rise to High-Density in 15 Years – inversion and the Rise of the Toronto Exurb”.
