As mentioned in the upcoming metrolnx board meeting for June 26th, the one fare program has been an overwhelming success: https://www.metrolinx.com/en/about-us/the-board/board-meetings/meeting-2025-06-26
During the first year of the One Fare Program, there were 38 million transfers representing
collective savings of over $123 million for customers due to the removal of double fares
with the TTC.
could this mean the one fare program is ending or being extended beyond march 2026?In respect of the Mx Annual Report, the key paragraph on Fare Integration is thus:

I am given to understand that material fare reforms/reductions are being examined with an eye to spring '26 implementation. *
As always dates are subject to change, and with the world's most opaque organization since MI6 .....you may never know what the change was/is until after its happened. LOL

YesI didn't watch it, but by "success", does that mean increased ridership on the 905 systems?
So no fare zones?

So how do you like the idea of Metrolinx fare vending machines at major city intersections?
Weren't such machines required as part of the TTC-Presto agreement ... perhaps so long ago that they were less redundant. Not sure how much of a gain is there to be had - especially considering the viability of alternate payments. I wonder if this is more about capturing customer info and selling it.
