That red life ring has always amused me. I've always imagined it was to rescue any Mercs or Audis that happen to fall into the river from the dealerships upstream.

It was part of an art project that had several installations along the Don.

Wow, Goldie, are those your own shots? I misread the caption at first; I thought it said "circa 1930". They look like something way out of the past. Thought they were something you might have found in the CoTA.

Looks like a better-kept field in Sparta.

A huge site for the Pan Am games is being prepared on U.of T. (Scarborough) property - N/E of Morningside & Military Trail.
It will house two Olympic-size pools and more.

Shooting in the Don Valley Brick Works, 1993.
It was more exciting and adventuresome before the eventual sanitization and promotion as a public garden.
