GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

Just curious how they told you. Did you follow up through email? No worries if you'd rather not say. Always interested to read different posts here on potential service increases.
We had a conversation on twitter...summary....any extension of service has to be approved by CN......still in discussion with CN....nothing to report....we will let you know.

Is there a GPS feed for GO Transit buses that I'm not aware of? I noticed the app "Transit" can show bus location for GO now, and it appears it's GPS based rather than scheduled based.

I know the GO Rail service improvements chart is referenced here from time to time. As noted, Steve Munro posted it in this post in 2015. I've taken it a step further and added an "actual" column to to track progress. The chart as the usual disclaimers about CN/CP.

I''ve added in the link to the mid-day trains that were added to the Kitchener Corridor in 2015 and a reference to the Barrie weekend trains added in 2016 but I haven't had time to do the rest. If anyone wants to help let me know and I can DM you the Excel file, or could could send me the links to when services were improved in 2015-16, and 2016-17 and I'll do the update. I'm missing Lakeshore East and West (peak), Kitchener (peak), Milton (peak), and Richmond Hill (peak).

So in 2015, the Kitchener Line got only 14 midday trains, not 18. And on New Years Eve, the Barrie Line got only 19 weekend daily trips, not 24

Thanks! I'll wait to see if there is additional feedback on other items but will update the chart with the info you've provided for the next version. Thanks again.
