I don't see how they aren't the layout is pretty similar with the passengers boarding on the mid-level and having the washroom and transition between cars there along with the wheelchair areas.

That would be very interesting and could potentially significantly lower the cost of electrifying the fleet?

It would almost certainly increase the costs of electrifying the fleet - no one has seen a cost break-down yet but the speculation is that each one of those powercars is costing the almost the same as a dual-mode locomotive. That said, it would allow for increased train performance and capacity.

What the actual hell was that? It looks like they waved a camera phone around the locomotive and added facts. We did not see one bit of the interior of the locomotive. Come on Metrolinx, you can do so much better.

to the average casual follower, this is sufficient to get the facts and carry on their their day. Not everyone is a rabid transit fanatic.

I have to agree with @Streety McCarface because the tweet is billed as "an exclusive look inside one of our ... locomotives". There were no shots inside said locomotive. If they simply said it was looking at it, there would be no qualms to be had.
