No, 154 Front is on NORTH side of Front - the white 'shapes' are in the former TTC yard south of Front between Lower Sherbourne and Frederick. (The Young People's Theatre building is the last vestige of that.) (Happy to catch JT off base, may be a first!)

Thank you. In 1970, I was still relatively new to Toronto and had yet to go adventuring in that area.

Here is another (1972) view of the buses parked on the former TTC yard at SW corner of Front and Sherbourne. Described as
Corner of Sherbourne St. and Front St., looking south-west . You can see what is now the Young Peoples Theatre building at edge of picture.

Cannot find any mention of the Club, MIGHT'S, 1899 or 1903; BELL Telephone Directory, 1906; The Torontonian Society Blue Book and Club List, 1921.
(They could have been an off-shoot of either Rosedale Golf, before their removing to Bedford Park, or the Toronto Golf, before their removing to Lakeview.)

Can anyone help identify this intersection? It's a T intersection for the streetcar tracks, there's a high pressure hydrant on the sidewalk at left, a rare wartime parking lot, and pedestrian signs on the traffic signals. 1943, TTC work car decked out for the war effort, photo by Robert S. I had fun over my lunch break trying to figure that out - my best guess is Richmond and York, looking northeast. Queen Street would be at the other end of those billboards.

Clues:
- three-way streetcar tracks at a four-way intersection (check - Richmond was two-way at that time)
- age and size of the factory in the background
- background - probably low-rise buildings of The Ward. Note the poles marking a dense network of streets behind. The metal tower in the background is likely on top of one of the Eaton's buildings behind [Old] City Hall.
- the Victory Bond car was probably making circuits of the downtown core on a publicity run
