I've gone to Ottawa twice with Porter - the first time was in the fall and I thought the airline wouldn't survive as there were 5 or 6 people on the flight.
This time the plane was completely full - amazing views of downtown! Too bad it was so smoggy last Thursday.
Sorry to keep this off topic, but is there a good seat to try to nab (given wing location and side of plane)? I've given in and booked a flight to Ottawa in July with the current seat 'sale' ($79 one-way, taxes were about $30).
Sean - just speak to someone at Porter and ask for a good view. It's a small enough company that you'll be able to find someone who knows which seats give good view.
My inner plane geek and inner progressive urbanist are always at odds about whether I want Porter to fly or fail. Thanks, Mike - that's exciting / depressing to hear.
