Our 5th floor patio has now been sponsored by Home Depot so at least it looks pretty.

Let's start with the acres of grey panelling.

I think to the architect's credit, they planned to cover the mechanicals. But the catch?: with more grey panelling.

My only point here is that this wasn't a Quadrangle building originally, so they have to start with what they've got, and then have to make something work within Rogers' small budget, and then have to cut back when Rogers cuts back. Doesn't sound to me like Quadrangle should have to shoulder much of the blame. Convince me otherwise?

If you think form and budget are excuses for bad architecture and design, I do not think you can be convinced otherwise (and no offence meant).
