It is unfortunate, but the Mariners are that hungry for their very first World Series appearance in franchise history as they won Game 1 of the ALCS.

For the Blue Jays, they can only afford to lose three more times before they are finished, so there's that.

Just got back from game 2 of the ALCS. It's not looking good. Trey wasn't lights out, and Vladdy's gone back to being cold at the plate. Pitching matchups not looking favourable for Toronto. Facing Seattle's ace in T-Mobile Park. Hopefully a lot of Vancouver Jays fans show up.

I tell yah, it's not a good feeling to spend a substantial amount of money to go watch your team get their butt kicked and then walk away feeling miserable. Uuuuugh!

Bad time for Jays' bats to go cold. Seattle has a formidable bullpen and got a game of his career showing from their 5th starter in game 1 vs the Jays.

Ultimately just the reality of being a rookie pitcher and Trey coming back down to earth in game 2. Seattle's hitters were able to back up their guy.

Game 3 will be a must win for a chance to take the series back.
