    Toronto One Bloor East | 257.24m | 76s | Great Gulf | Hariri Pontarini

See that s*#t blows my mind! Maybe it's just because I cant understand anything related to physics, but how could that possibly stay intact? I would be crapping my pants 24/7 thinking my unit would go crashing to the ground!

    Toronto Waterlink at Pier 27 | 43.89m | 14s | Cityzen | a—A

Totally agree... the place is run down. Having seen the place many times whenever coming to the City, when my wife and I finally moved here last year I was psyched about Captain Johns Sunday Brunch! God, we took three steps into the place, couldn't smell anything but the innards of fish and...

    Toronto Corus Quay | ?m | 8s | Waterfront Toronto | Diamond Schmitt

All of the East Bayfront pics from Waterfront Toronto show that Corus has a considerably sized green roof. Is this confirmed?

Head of Slips (Waterfront Toronto, West 8/DTAH)

I couldn't find the other, more appropriate thread for this, but I've heard differing things, in that the Queen's Quay renovation will start in 2010, and as well that it won't. Has anyone read/heard any details I haven't?

    Toronto Ïce Condominiums at York Centre | 234.07m | 67s | Lanterra | a—A

From a long term perspective, 10 - 15 years and longer, you are absolutely right. Prices here are quite depressed compared to global cities of the same size and stature. Many smaller global cities have prices much higher than Toronto...

    Toronto First Canadian Place Rejuvenation | 298.08m | 72s | Brookfield | MdeAS Architects

When they say that work will start immediately, when does that actually mean? Like, in a week? Two months? Anyone have the details?

Toronto Panorama at Concord CityPlace | 96.01m | 28s | Concord Adex | BDP Quadrangle

Living at Malibu, and looking southeast towards Panorama, I had no idea what to expect, but I have been pleasantly surprised... the building has a very nice viewpoint from this angle :)

Toronto St Regis Toronto Hotel and Residences | 281.93m | 58s | JFC Capital | Zeidler

I know! Its been talked aboot for so long, and now that its coming - and quick at that - I cant wait to see it completed. This intersection will be awesome!

    Toronto Corus Quay | ?m | 8s | Waterfront Toronto | Diamond Schmitt

Wow... I really dont think this is that big a deal. Its not an unbelievable building, but its decent, and will be surrounded by some very nice public spaces, that I think, will be nice additions to the waterfront. We cant see the one building and say that the entire area is going to hell...

Speculating about a new start at 1 Bloor East

Good on you for that brother. I tend to agree, a lot of people are just pessimistic and negative about our city, while I think it has plenty to offer for everyone, and that we are all fortunate to live in such a great city! P.S. Not to say improvements cant be made, there is always room for...

Based on this pic... it looks like it has topped out...?

TTC: Flexity Streetcars Testing & Delivery (Bombardier)

I think it needs to be extended west to Downsview for sure... but I think the rest is just wishful thinking. :(

TTC: Flexity Streetcars Testing & Delivery (Bombardier)

Sheppard East starts this year, take the $400M from that pool for the street cars, and then use the $400M stimulus on the Sheppard East line that starts construction in six months. Just shovel the money around, its all the same... the fact that there isnt complete funding is nonsense.

    1233 Queen East | ?m | 8s

Id like to see the format from the current TV's in the stations. Advertising up top and stops/service announcements on the red band below. Uniformity in this case is good.

Head of Slips (Waterfront Toronto, West 8/DTAH)

They certainly are nice, although its a shame the beauty of cedar will be dulled over the next year. When I was at a Waterfront meeting at Harbourfront Centre a couple of months ago, the plans had indicated that there were to be quite a few more wave decks, even one at the foot of Dan Lecki...

Region has a transit plan, now what about money?

I have always supported road tolls (and still do), but lately, I have been wondering if a regional additional gas tax would be more efficient. Whats a couple of extra cents per litre when gas is approaching $1/litre anyways? And another plus... no need for additional infrastructure :) Any...

    Toronto West Block Est. 1928, The LakeShore, and The LakeFront | 130.75m | 41s | Choice Properties | a—A

I think I saw that in the Globe a year or so ago as well. Loblaws hasnt been doing too poorly lately... and MLG has been cancelled, so I hope this one starts moving along.

    Toronto Canoe Landing Park | ?m | ?s | Concord Adex

Actually, its pretty high. Pictures can be deceiving but if you drive by, the western hill is at least as high as the Gardiner is at that spot, so 6 - 8 floors I would think.
