It just seems premature to me to act like the Relief Line was stopped or cancelled while they are determining the route, studies are under way and haven't asked for funding yet.

I assumed they will ask for money for the relief line when the studies are done hopefully early next year? It's not like anyone voted for or against funding the relief line yet right? I'd assume money promised for infrastructure from province and federal would be available for any transit project.

Interesting the talk of "generating" density around subways when one of the densest areas for both employment & residential has no subway and badly needs it: King St West from Spadina to Liberty Village.

Also some in de-struction It's kind of interesting walking on Eglinton with LRT construction sites up. The fencing makes it seem like a super narrow road.

I thought pretty much all councillors were opposed to all development. Same with anyone who goes to development public meetings, it's all angry yelling.

It doesn't even seem comparable to me. At Union the 6 car subway trains carrying a huge amount vs. the green line streetcar trains which are narrower and way shorter. Plus of course the GO trains/buses and streetcar lines.

After a game it was crowded and we used the teamways to get to the station. However it seemed to move steadily and we got to the subway in a reasonable time.

I can't imagine. The green line vehicles don't have much capacity (like our CLRV smaller streetcars).

It looks almost exactly like the inside of the SRT trains. As a tourist I found Boston's transit pretty good. The trains and stations were old yes but it seemed to get me where I wanted to go. Going from the airport to downtown was insanely easy but that's also cause it's so close. But...

Yeah, I'd imagine the vast majority of TTC riders will continue to use Metropasses & tokens until the whole system is converted, or at least the whole subway system. At that point you'd do a massive public awareness thing since everyone would have to switch. Still huge gaps in presto coverage...

You get messages during that time you're connected. Then when you send messages between stations it sends at the next station when you connect. Example, you're meeting people at a restaurant and they sent you a message that that restaurant is full so they're changing locations.
