    Toronto CHAZ | 150.87m | 47s | 45 Charles Ltd | P + S / IBI

There's no copyright on building names, they are just names afterall. The names are just used for marketing purposes so there's a reason for them to be distinct while they are selling product. After a few years though most building names are forgotten as most people just refer to them by their...

Excellent, was afraid this one had died.

    Toronto L-Tower | 204.82m | 58s | Cityzen | Daniel Libeskind

Look to the Design Exchange to see how another ill-defined yet well intentioned cultural space can go horribly wrong.

    Toronto Library District Condominiums + Toronto's 99th Library | ?m | 29s | Context Development | KPMB

Interesting, and the site mentions KPMB as the architects.

    Toronto Eau du Soleil Condos | 227.98m | 66s | Empire | Richmond Architects

But you can argue that that lower buildings end up with larger floor plates than point towers and as a result block more views ...

Marquee, The (45 + 55 Lisgar St, Queen West Triangle, Drakestone, 14 + 7s) COMPLETE

That website and logo reminds me of 'the star of downtown.' I think this is going to be a bad one...

    Toronto Studio and Studio2 on Richmond | 131.06m | 41s | Aspen Ridge | BDP Quadrangle

This could go either way. Very hard to tell from those drawings and Quadrangle is hit or miss. Still, hiding University Plaza from the last available side is a good thing.

    Toronto Festival Tower and tiff Lightbox | 156.96m | 42s | Daniels | KPMB

Slightly off topic but I just heard that the MOMA's Tim Burton exhibition is coming to TIFF's Lightbox this fall...

    Toronto Aura at College Park | 271.87m | 78s | Canderel | Graziani + Corazza

^The literal net strikes again. I would be curious to know the difference between a steel and concrete framed building in terms of wind sway. I would think that concrete structures are inherently more rigid than steel...I doubt you would notice much movement either way.

    Toronto Churchill Park Condos | ?m | 14s | Tower Hill | BDP Quadrangle

Looks like the trees will do a good job hiding this thing during the warmer months. What a dud.

    Toronto Cinema Tower | 142.64m | 43s | Daniels | Kirkor Architects

The drawing reads 'Artscape Entrance' for the performance space. That doesn't really answer your question but it gives us an idea of who and how it might be run.

226 Queen St W at McCaul St (5s) DEAD

Cassius i misread your post but i agree with you anyway. The original building would be fine if not for all the abuse it has endured.

Toronto Five St Joseph | 160.93m | 48s | Five St. Joseph | Hariri Pontarini

They have done that...it's called Radio City though.

Toronto Five St Joseph | 160.93m | 48s | Five St. Joseph | Hariri Pontarini

That's right, I remember that now. Odd how the names are the same. Maybe we can expect a Barn condo next?

226 Queen St W at McCaul St (5s) DEAD

I agree, I think it's a handsome building and a good scale for the street. I wish there were more of these going up on our main streets. 5-8 floors make for better streets than the usual 2 or 3.

Toronto Five St Joseph | 160.93m | 48s | Five St. Joseph | Hariri Pontarini

Wasn't there a club called Five next door in what is now a condo called Eleven?

    Toronto 550 Wellington West and 1 Hotel | ?m | 15s | Freed | a—A

That just proves why rebuilding is such a pointless exercise. That thing is an embarrassment.

    Toronto Boutique Condos | 106.37m | 35s | Urban Capital | ZAS Architects

^Well it's better grey than beige.

    Toronto Parade at Concord CityPlace | 127.4m | 44s | Concord Adex | P + S / IBI

That ad is idiotic. I thought it was a joke.
