Another weekend on the Bloor St East “cycle tracks”

Hopefully the Ontario Line will make use of their lessons learned. E.g. using precast concrete building blocks, fully automated system, platform doors.

Isn’t this slow order west of Guelph railway station already worked on by improving tracks and closing crossings or even is it mitigated by now?

Took the 15:15h train from Niagara Falls to Toronto. I tried to shoot some photos at the Hamilton Junction. Seems like CN is still working on the signaling systems. There piles of material I can’t identify. Someone else might have knowledge what they are doing?

Seems like construction has accelerated. Maybe this project secured additional funding?

Took not that long that the new bike lanes on Bloor St. E got killed

Recently on Bloor East in front of Cartier.

There seems to be a major design flaw in the new cycle tracks along Bloor St. E. A lot of complaints are posted recently. Will Layton action on this? What is his actual auth to get design changes?

That’s not entirely true. I went to Christinas on the Danforth yesterday evening for dinner which is inside the Greektown BIA. The owner are supporting it. They said Danforth is less noisy and more pleasant for customers to sit outside.

The dark blue Hyundai is owned by a lady working at the courthouse or attending a trial. She said that she knows that she is parking in the wrong lane. However, the “parking lanes” feels unsafe for her. Everyone seems to get it, but looks poor entitlement to me.

Biked by Stouffville line close to Tara Avenue. Great so see all two tracks are built. Some interesting activity I’ve observed was that some kind of drilling work is done. Does anyone know what it is for?

How many Alstom trains have been delivered in total for the Confederation line?

How about the number of LRT's running on the Confederation line. If I understood correctly, there less trains in operations as actually needed. Some seem to be still in the process to be certified and approved. Will there be more trains soon on the Confederation line or do we need to wait for...
