    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

Post-secondary student for GO has to renewed each school year, so a "lifespan" is definitely doable for the Presto card at least.

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

Yes, there's been years of discussion on this, but this the FIRST time there's been any actual semblance of proof. And despite it being at least Brad Ross' view (in their view is different than it actually being required), I still don't fully buy it, because nobody has bothered with the other...

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

It keeps getting brought up because people keep complaining about it. It'll always been an issue until it's changed, or even just a proper answer from the TTC or Metrolinx is given.

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

It takes just a second to notice your balance, which is why no one lingers at all, other than just to confirm the transaction. Because there's only so many people that can board a bus at once, plus the system itself has a very brief period after someone taps until the next person can tap. The...

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

I've never seen any backup at readers in 905 or on GO because of someone lingering to check their balance. Line-ups yes, but only because of a limited number of a readers and a large number boarding, and they move smoothly. I was there for testing of the devices before the first streetcar...

York Region Transit: Viva service thread

Even Brampton has very limited service on Sunday evenings, which really should be improved. (For example, my local route stops running at 7pm on Sunday, but runs until midnight all other days) GO buses continue to run until at least past 2am on some routes leaving Union, but many local routes...

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

This is really pretty much the same as how Presto works everywhere outside the TTC. It's just the TTC that is unusual in its implementation compared to 905 systems that have been using Presto for years.

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

Queen's Park has narrow escalators at the southwest exit to street level.

GO Transit: Construction Projects (Metrolinx, various)

Speaking of platform four, there hasn't really been much work at all on it since last summer. I mean, they probably couldn't do much over winter, but it's virtually in the same state as it was on Labour Day. So, what exactly are they doing?

    Brampton Transit/Zum

Just as a point of clarification, the 501 has always used the ring road since its inception. I cannot recall if construction started first, or the 501 did, but the proper ZUM stop was built on the ring road.

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

I haven't seen what looks like any progress on platform 4 in months. Yes, it's been winter, but this is dating back to summer that it hasn't seemed to change progress.

TTC: Flexity Streetcars Testing & Delivery (Bombardier)

Spadina station can barely hold two flexities, and that's based on how well the first car can pull up and how close the second driver is willing to get.

    Toronto Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

Likely because the Richmond Hill GO tracks are still in the Don River valley (and are not the tracks going over at Leslie either) and lie fairly near the river where it crosses Eglinton. Not the best or most convenient places for a station, not to mention about 300m distance in either direction...

    Brampton Transit/Zum

I still see it to this day, although it's not me. I'll be pulling out on my bus from the terminal, and see other buses coming in and be like "I'd hate to be on that bus trying to catch this one" I think Sunday service could use to be expanded as well. My local route stops running at 7pm

    Brampton Transit/Zum

I find the timing to be more problematic, and always has been. I don't take the bus as often anymore, but when I did, I would often miss a 30-minute frequency route by mere seconds, seeing it leave the terminal as my bus pulls in. And then I get annoyed at the frequency after because it's now a...

TTC: Flexity Streetcars Testing & Delivery (Bombardier)

Sussex and Wilcocks are both close to the Harbord stop, however, it is much further to the next stop on either side if you remove either, and a little bit more factoring in the distance around Spadina Circle or down into Spadina station. If anything, Harbord is what I would nominate to eliminate...

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

You don't even need to go that far. Brampton definitely has it.

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

And there are some systems outside of Toronto that actually use yellow strips to request a stop.

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

I assume this was later in the evening, it was fine around four pm. They still haven't learned that the place gets packed between Fan Expo closing and the CNE after 5, with standing room only for a half-hour frequency route. (It's why I left just a bit earlier, the bus was not packed before 5)...

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

Yeah, it doesn't actually explain it on the map. (You have the read all the specifics to understand) But, this is how I read it: 514 on diversion, westbound via York-Queen-Spadina, eastbound via Spadina-Queen-Church 504 split into two parts, west leg at Spadina, east leg at...
