Two my of friends are from New Zealand. They live in Wellington currently. They told me that our towers are "prettier" than the ones being built in their hometown.

It's only a matter of time before more developments start to transform this entire area. And it couldn't happen fast enough. The neighborhood is pretty sketchy and rundown.

I'm probably in the minority camp with this opinion, but I kinda of like how this recladding is looking. I've never thought the Simpson Tower was an attractive looking building. I always s thought it was drab.

Not only is this a very bland looking building, but it's a loss opportunity on what could have been a striking looking tower.

This does look like Iike YC's sibling, but appears better designed and has an overall more refined look to it.

Can't say that I'm excited for this project. The office tower looks cool, but the residential towers have really been dumbed down. And what's with the ugly mechanical boxes on top?

Hands down this project is the best looking thing down by the waterfront as far as towers go and beats all of the Cityplace towers handily. Concord could have learned from this.

What's really going here is that Ford is another Harris and it's driving you guys nuts. So you justify tactics that are extremely sleazy to demonize Ford and now his entire family.

The actions of Ford's former brother-in-law have nothing to do with Ford. It was the act of one man who later after apparently being divorced from his Ford's sister killed someone. What's outrageous and creepy is your attempt to somehow pin this on Ford and his entire family. There is no excuse...

This is an extremely offensive and repugnant statement to make. Alleging that because someone had married into Ford's family previously and then later murdered a woman now automatically means that Ford and his family are guilty of being criminals because of guilt by association. I'm disgusted...

If you build a LRT line only to then replace it with a subway line later if demand/use increases this to me seems a colossal waste and just plain idiocy. I also agree that if you build an LRT then you won't see subways in that area built. Ever....

Are you freaking kidding me?! Again, another attack on the poor. There is no justification for even trying to link poor people and this project to begin with. Getting real sick of this type attack on the poor by some on this board. If living in a city that has poor people really messes you up...
