From a long term perspective, 10 - 15 years and longer, you are absolutely right. Prices here are quite depressed compared to global cities of the same size and stature. Many smaller global cities have prices much higher than Toronto...

When they say that work will start immediately, when does that actually mean? Like, in a week? Two months? Anyone have the details?

Living at Malibu, and looking southeast towards Panorama, I had no idea what to expect, but I have been pleasantly surprised... the building has a very nice viewpoint from this angle :)

Wow... I really dont think this is that big a deal. Its not an unbelievable building, but its decent, and will be surrounded by some very nice public spaces, that I think, will be nice additions to the waterfront. We cant see the one building and say that the entire area is going to hell...

Sheppard East starts this year, take the $400M from that pool for the street cars, and then use the $400M stimulus on the Sheppard East line that starts construction in six months. Just shovel the money around, its all the same... the fact that there isnt complete funding is nonsense.

Id like to see the format from the current TV's in the stations. Advertising up top and stops/service announcements on the red band below. Uniformity in this case is good.
