Do GO and VIA use common hookups for hotel power, given they use different voltages for HEP? If not, then presumably that would add an item to the notion of laying over GO equipment in London.
The physical plugs are the same, although the pin configurations within the plugs are different.Do GO and VIA use common hookups for hotel power, given they use different voltages for HEP? If not, then presumably that would add an item to the notion of laying over GO equipment in London.
Sure, but.....Could they have different wayside power units for VIA and GO? Different colours?
Someone mentioned that there is a rumor that they want to get service started in October so if that's true, then they should get started on that now....Sure, but.....
You still need them to output different voltages - VIA uses 480vAC and GO uses 575vAC. That's not an overnight thing to fix - it will take several weeks at least to set up the new feeds to the distribution network, install new transformers, install the new wayside cabinets, run conduit, etc.

Heading to ONR shop?
Probably. It's within a klic or so of being there.Heading to ONR shop?
Hopefully the schedule is both ways at both rush hours (although at the speed of this corridor using the word "rush hour" is a misnomer).

I don't really get what the point of them is? Hasn't always been said that having seat belts on a bus could make it harder for someone to get out in the event of an emergency?
