I think this is a handsome building, and I won't sweat the details until it's all complete. (though I do hope they plan something for that wall).

I agree with both of you in terms of the positive aspects of the building, I guess that's why the pre-cast elements struck me as so out of step with the rest of the design (at least at this point). Again, hope I've just jumped the gun and it will be resolved in due course.

Since these are purely pre-cast architectural panels ie. no structural purpose, I would find it very unusual that the architect would have considered adding a finish after the fact and more likely expected a fairly uniform appearance as a final product. That being said, hopefully the architect will recognize the issue and think about a plan B.
