Today's Photo of the Day is a brilliant shot taken by Forum member wmedia near the foot of Yonge Street looking north towards Yonge and Bloor. Cityzen, Fernbrook and Castlepoint's L Towere figures prominantly in the foreground of this shot, clearly adding to the canyon effect we can expect to see along the Yonge corridor over the coming decade.

Toronto's developers seem to be using Yonge street as a stage for the battle of the tallest - Canderel Stoneridge's Aura is on the rise, Great Gulf's One Bloor East is in the process of excavation, and 50 Bloor West has been drawing a significant amount of attention even before an application has been publicized. We can also expect the Massey Tower, Five St. Joseph, The St. Nicholas, and Casa II to make their mark along Yonge over the coming years.
