Word broke in the UrbanToronto forum this week that there were plans being prepared for a condo at 2 Gloucester Street. Initially there were worries that the condo would impact the heritage designated Gloucester Mews, seen here in a photo by forum member dt_toronto_geek.

Well the word today is that the 29 storey condo will be located at 8 Gloucester Street with the Mews being retained in it entirety. The original building at 8 Gloucester will be preserved and incorporated into the new project. Here we see the site today.

The 327 foot tall tower will contain 211 units, with 34 parking spots housed in two levels of underground parking. Here's an early rendering of the project.
