Even though we can't see the water in this image by UrbanToronto Forum contributor skycandy, we're right down by Toronto Harbour where Waterfront Toronto — shovels dominating the foreground — are directing the redevelopment of the Port Lands. Where so much earth is being moved will soon be a new park, while behind several new buildings rise, most of them terraced towards the lake. The closest of those buildings, Aqualuna at Bayside, caught late last week, rises behind mounded up earth. Now fully formed and with its cranes removed, cladding and interior work will continue over the coming months.
