Toronto is not known for its bold use of colour… so it's always great to see a new building chip away at our buttoned-down image. In this case, the new B+H Architects-designed Patient Support Centre tower at SickKids Hospital adds a colourful stripe to the Toronto Discovery District skyline along Elizabeth Street across the height of its windowed staircase. In this image by UrbanToronto Forum contributor Northern Light, the staircase runs through the colour wheel from purple to blue.
