Construction of Lifetime DevelopmentsLiberty Market Tower is nearing completion in Toronto's Liberty Village neighbourhood. It is the final phase of the long-term redevelopment of the six-acre Liberty Market Complex. The 28-storey mixed-use building was designed by Wallman Architects, with the first condo residents expected to move in towards the end of this year.

Our last update was in the beginning of June, when the tower had just topped out with the construction of its mechanical penthouse above its 28th storey, reaching a height just shy of 100 metres.

At that time, the window wall cladding fitted with dark spandrel panels and mullions had extended to just below the tower's roofline, enclosing all but the mechanical penthouse on top. Now, the penthouse has been completely covered.

Glazing has also been completely installed, with all protective film having been removed along the building's base. The majority of protective fencing has also been removed from the base of the building, as the surrounding pedestrian walkways near completion.

Including its penthouse suites, Liberty Market Tower will introduce 281 luxury condominium units to the Liberty Village neighbourhood in a range of layouts, along with office spaces in the podium, and retail at the ground level. The first occupancies are targeted for late 2021.
