This week’s Throwback Thursday takes us back over five years, comparing views of Toronto’s Queen and Soho intersection from 2014 and 2019. Back in February 2014, south-facing views from Soho Street, north of Queen, showed the Entertainment District in a state of transition. From left to right, this view included under construction buildings Theatre Park, The Pinnacle on Adelaide, a retail building at 365 Queen West (centre foreground), a crane for Tableau Condominiums, and Peter Street Condos.

The same vantage point from November 2019 shows a new skyline has obscured many of the since-completed buildings mentioned above. The view now includes (L-R) Picasso Condos, the recently topped-out 330 Richmond, the completed 365 Queen retail building, Tableau Condominiums behind it, the Bisha Hotel and Residences in the distance, and Queen Richmond Centre West looming to the right side of the image.

We will return next week with another look at the changing face of Toronto. In the meantime, you can submit your own Throwback Thursday comparisons in our dedicated Forum thread for your chance to be featured in next week's edition.
