Construction is pressing on at The Well, where seven new towers all rising from a shared base are soon to add a mix of commercial, retail, rental, and condominium space to a Toronto block bounded by Front Street, Spadina Avenue, Wellington Street, and just touching on part of Draper Street to the west. The complex is a joint venture of several partners, with the design being handled by a team of architectural firms and landscape architects. Facing Wellington Street are three Tridel-developed condominium buildings. Now well into their marketing, Tridel is now focusing on the boutique Signature Series suites, found in a 14-storey Wallman Architects-designed boutique condominium building to rise in the northwest corner of the site.
In a previous article we took a look at one of the building's grand penthouse units, and today we'll return for another floorplan among the Signature Series' limited selection of 98 suites. Starting from $1.8 million, layouts in the building include two-bedroom and two-bedroom+den units and range from 1,106 ft² to 2,297 ft² in area, as well as three-bedroom and three-bedroom+den units measuring from 1,869 ft² to 2,622 ft².
The largest of the two-bedroom plans is Suite 2Z+Fa, measuring in at 2,297 ft2, and priced at $3,375,000. This suite, which has windows facing two directions, includes a master bedroom with ensuite bathroom and walk-in closet, a second bedroom with its own ensuite, a family room with its own balcony, a huge dining area, a kitchen and a living room divided by a fireplace wall, and another balcony, large enough to comfortably seat six for an outdoor meal.
++++
More details about the Signature Series suites can be found in Tridel's recently relocated presentation centre, now at 74 Wellington Street West, across the road from the construction site. The sales centre is open weekdays from 11 AM to 7 PM, and weekends and holidays from noon to 5 PM.
