I was probably one of the last ppl to see the Sanctuary--I lived across the street during its transformation into the $bux.

Don't know whether adma knows or not, but I remember them as another set of Avenue Road townhouses--with flat roofs, blonde brickwork and enough space to park a car or two.

Your memory is correct. There is a block of these still remaining south of Glencairn Ave.
