TTC Subway Station Construction/Modernization

St Patrick.
You only have 5 hours a day to remove the existing material, fix any problems once the station is exposed, to measure things to make sure those measurements match what is plan for the station, upgrade the electrical system to new codes and then start installing the new material. Now what size of crew is doing the work and are they working 7 days a week?

What station has taken 10 years to do it??

You can get more done faster if you close the station for a week or two at time.
Didn’t they closed the subway for signal work between Union and St Clair West a few weekends ago? They could do a lot in a weekend….

They have been taking advantage of closures. More visible work has been done in last few months though some of the earlier work like asbestos and waterproofing is harder to see.

They should close the station for a couple weeks and expedite the work that doesn't need the subway to be closed. Downtown stations are very close to each other.
