You can't even see the overhead in that shot where the lrv is going down the grass boulevard with the trees (well, not until it gets to the intersection anyway). Wish we built right of ways like that here!

Yes, the Lisbon trams are quite the trip! Unfortunately, it is (or was, pre-covid) hard to actually get on a 28 (or others) as they are filled with (other) tourists. Well worth it though.

Too bad the 510 SPADINA couldn't be re-routed through Kensington Market like that.

Years ago in Budapest I recalled taking a bus through the Buda hills. The streets were so narrow we hit a parked car trying to make a turn.

The street was not much wider than one lane.. likely 1.5.

Too bad the 510 SPADINA couldn't be re-routed through Kensington Market like that.

Or, we can think about ways we can encourage development so that more streets in Toronto have narrower widths, a more fine-grained grid and more retail.
