I'm really surprised (though kinda not, this being Toronto) that they didn't put a canopy over that stairwell. Bring on the medium grey, spandrel clad box!

Wow they actually attempted to make the tiling match the existing platform aesthetic?? Maybe the TTC didnt realize their mistake is getting things right here.

They did something similar at Castle Frank and Woodbine.

I haven't seen this in person yet........so can't be sure, but the tile looks pretty close to the one used at Donlands, and at Pape.
Neutral colour, large format tile, usually a matte finish.

I believe that they were told "no" when they asked about building a more elaborate pavilion. Something about the view of the trees in the circle.

There is an elevator being added to the north entrance, this entrance will not be accessible.

Love the new entrance! Especially because it's a stair entrance that isn't all concrete. The (metal?) fence makes me think of NYC's iconic stair entrances with the green wrought iron fence.
