This happens sometimes with test cars. Speculation is operator breaks.

Thankfully, it is leaving Hillcrest now, but that was quite odd.

lol...I had to read that a few times. They just don't make operators the way they used to! One has to wonder where they keep the broken operators?

All Flexity's use Hillcrest as a layover for breaks and meals when using 512 at some point.
If 4508 has done an in service 501 as noted and showing its a 501 now at the Barns, as well the amount of testing it has done since it started testing, it could be in service before Friday.
Surprise no cars were off loaded today, but the next 3 days could be seeing one off loaded each day.

Really hope that 501 will eventually and actually get Flexities on weekdays, as promised by Brad Ross in November, and 504 is done for the conversion, it seems.

While, 4508 will enter service Wed-Fri, X car was off loaded today with 2 more this week and that should put some more cars on 501 before Christmas. It will be 2019 before more cars will make their way to 501.
Haven't seen nothing other than Flexities on 504 these days. 512 is all Flexities now as well 510.

Hopefully, 501 gets some more on weekdays before Christmas. Think it may have been 4512 that was offloaded.

If you are to deserve your handle as a 'TTC transit fanatic' you need to pay more attention - 501 has been getting Flexities on weekends for several weeks now and more appear there each week.

Looks like we will see 4508 in Service on Wed as its sitting in the middle of track 7 in the yard. It was heading back to the Barns around 3:30 am as I heading to bed late and an early night for 4508. Spent the day in the service bay. Only taken 30 days to be in service. A fast prep for service.
Lets see how long it takes the car off loaded today to show up on the GPS and see testing. Then there 2 more to be off loaded this week as well.
This gives TTC 112 cars delivery, but only 107 that can see service at this time.

4508 arrived on Nov 5 and enter service Dec 5 on route 512

4512 and 4513 both made it to Hillcrest this week. Two more have been released from Thunder Bay.
