I saw the conveyor but but do not think it comes from the ticket windows. If you want to check bags (and on some trains you must check larger ones) you must take them to the Baggage Deposit on the lower level. It may be used to transfer checked bags from the 'deposit office to the trains and vice versa.Do you know what is suddenly uncovered? The windows just north of the Baggage desk -- they show the conveyor belt down from the VIA ticket windows. Not sure I've ever seen what's behind those windows. Thing is, how many VIA trains per week accept bags for handling?
