I personally really like Innis Residence hall (the above building) because it so breaks free from the box, especially with Rotman next door and its unabashed boxiness. I find the different materials and forms make it visually interesting too.

Agreed. I like both Innis Residence and the Rotman building next door. They have nice lines.

Thanks! I was just thinking about this project yesterday, hungering for an update and voila! Not nearly as nice as the original proposal, but not bad at all...except that AC unit sticking out like a sore thumb.

I'm sure that AC unit is only the UofT playing a joke on UT. Bastards.

It would be cool if they could put bleachers on top of that building. Prime spots for anybody who likes to follow the strategy of Football from above.

Let them spin - this isn't done, so again, this is another premature issuance from you. Learn to wait until she's ready for your contribution.

Given what happened on campus and the broader neighbourhood in general, I am sure their graves had been turned a long, long time ago. In any case, it looks quite fine to me.

And more importantly, it will offer a much needed alternative to working out in the collective dumps known as Hart House and the AC.

Has AC gotten that bad? In any case, is this even open to the average student I wonder.

As the main athletic facility at U of T it's sorely lacking in space and newer equipment. Not to mention it isn't the most aesthetically pleasing. You would expect better from Canada's top university especially compared to the fitness facilities of other Canadian universities.

From my understanding, Goldring will be open to all students, as it should be.
