ugly design we have most unusual of late condos already so modern bot come on we can do better..

the tower portion looks great.
What i'm not in love with is the west facade of the podium. You can even see that the renderings mostly focus on the east side.
You can definitely see the difference when comparing the two.
Heck, even if we compare the building just to the south of it, the podium is just lacking. Looks like something built for an office tower.
It's a bit unfortunate as this is the side that will mostly be seen as there are not obstructions on the east side.
But overall, this development has been a win for the harbour.

Not much of a view from those south-facing balconies on the podium. Just make sure you've got curtains!

I'm ok with the west facade of the podium. It's a contrast from the sculptural verve of the east side but I don't think the simplicity of line and volume detracts at all from the whole. But yeah, the south side balconies... not so great. On the whole though, this project looks great.

I wish we learned from our mistakes at Harbour Castle and York Quay when it comes to highrises right on the waterfront (as opposed to midrises like further west), but at least with this one it is a decent enough design and doesn't completely cut off the water from QQ like the others do.
