With so many window-wall spaMdrel™- infested builds in this nabe... great materials give the tower portion of this HPA beauty a refreshing, almost ‘office building’ quality (of course much of the podium is in fact office: Thomson Reuters).

Can’t help but think this is what Kohn Pedersen Fox’s YSL Tower would’ve looked like with the strong vertical lines.

February 13, 2023: Not too much change from other recent photos - the 19 Duncan building has clearly been topped off, with the cladding reaching near the top. However, since the 19 Duncan thread was started (by me) just over eight years ago, and the building is looking just great, thought this photo would be a nice addition.

The owners of Simit & Chai and Pasaj are looking to open a Turkish bakery/coffee shop/restaurant somewhere in this area. I wonder if it is going in this building? 🇹🇷
